Find out more at MRGExams.com. Job Overview Are you a Licensed Psychologist with a PsyD, or Ph.D. looking to take on an assessment role? Are you interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments vs. traditional patient care? Would you find it rewarding to serve the Veteran community? Would you enjoy being able to review medical records and complete assessment questionnaires to help Veterans? Description We are looking for a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform a comprehensive assessment in person on each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal. The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs. This role ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT treat, and you will NOT prescribe medication in this position. Licensed Psychologist will review and assess 4 Veterans per day. Licensed Psychologist will be brought on as an Independent Contractor Schedule 2-3 days (8am-4pm) This is an IN-PERSON position. Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume, which could impact staffing levels, revenues or expenses. Evaluates performance of clinical supervisory staff. Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel. Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities. Assists with the evaluation of organization performance via performance improvement program, productivity, quarterly and annual reviews. Assures for the quality and safe delivery of home health services provided through the Organization. Promotes home health referrals in the health care community. If functioning as Clinical Manager: Will be available at all times during operating hours and will provide oversight of all patient care services and personnel including making patient and personnel assignments; coordinating patient care; coordinating referrals; assuring patient needs are continually assessed: and assuring the development, implementation, and updates of the individualized plan of care. Qualifications: Registered Nurse/ LPN/ PT/OT/SLP with current licensure to practice professionally in the state or a licensed physician in the state. Maintains a current CPR certification A degree in Medicine or professional degree in from an accredited program. Masters degree in health care preferred. Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel. Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community. Has excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of business management, governmental/state/local regulations, and Organizational standards. Has been oriented to the Administrator job responsibilities.
